Sorted in another few minutes. Once seated order taken swiftly food arrived even quicker, we all opted for the small pork thank goodness we did, it was more than ample with 2 Yorkshire puddings an insane amount of vegetables consisting of swede, carrots, cabbage, mashed potato mushy peas with choppy salad mint sauce (divine) loads of gravy, really hot, very tasty no room for dessert which was just as well as they’d sold out of most items on the menu, great food at an excellent price, really pleased with it as I write this review 7 hours later, can’t face the prospect of anything else to eat!

The restaurant was quite busy during their second sitting at 1:15pm, which is always a good sign. There was a good selection of roasts to choose from and they came quickly with generous portion sizes and plenty of vegetables. The desserts were also good. Overall, the food was nice, the service was good, and it was good value for money. With wine, the bill came in at under 3 figures for all 5 of us! People back down south just won't believe me!

Despite previous issues trying to book a party of this size, we were fortunate to secure a reservation at this restaurant. However, our experience was marred by several issues. One member of our group received the wrong dish, which was only rectified after everyone else had finished eating. Additionally, a chicken dish had blood veins running through it, causing us to question its safety. When we brought this to the attention of the waitress, the manager tried to explain that this was normal for chicken breasts. This response did not feel professional or satisfactory in addressing our concerns about food safety. We did not receive an apology or any form of compensation for the inconvenience, leading us to decide not to return or recommend this restaurant for future special occasions. We will be looking for a better dining option moving forward.

He didn’t even ask what we wanted or see if he could accommodate us for food. Seriously nothing left ? Suspect it’s because we had a baby in a pram.
