What G7ONL dislikes about The Pollards:
Arrived at 5.55pm on a Tuesday evening to be told we couldn’t be served as they didn’t have enough stock to serve us. He didn’t even ask what we wanted or see if he could accommodate us for food. Seriously nothing left ? Suspect it’s because we had a baby in a pram. View all feedback.

An excellent lunch with good friendly staff we had grilled cocktail and black pudding bon bon bons they were the size of the golf balls with a lot of taste. then chili con carne followed a fish and chips. the chips were much full and the most tasty I had for a long time
We were there for a family birthday meal for 15 people. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend The Pollards to anyone. Excellent
We visited the restaurant tonight, which we typically do at least once a month. The food was outstanding and the service was exceptional, as always. We really enjoyed our experience. Thank you.
We had Sunday lunch at this restaurant with 5 adults. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was quite busy during their second sitting at 1:15pm, which is always a good sign. There was a good selection of roasts to choose from and they came quickly with generous portion sizes and plenty of vegetables. The desserts were also good. Overall, the food was nice, the service was good, and it was good value for money. With wine, the bill came in at under 3 figures for all 5 of us! People back down south just won't believe me!
