Very big selection but a little limited on vegetarian options. The sandwich was pretty nice but maybe not worth the price. When i got there the staff were talking about not getting paid enough and finished their conversation before seeing me even though i was the only person there lol. also a lil hair in the sandwich View all feedback. Returned here after a while away and was impressed as always by the choice and freshness of the sandwiches and salads. read moreThe Picnic Basket offers a diverse menu with a range of sandwiches, salads, pastries, and more. While some patrons found the prices to be high for the portion sizes, others were impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. The staff were described as friendly and accommodating, though there were some comments about inconsistent sandwich fillings. Customers should note that the restaurant may not be suitable for those with specific dietary requirements, as allergen information and cross-contamination risks were mentioned. Overall, The Picnic Basket seems to be a popular choice for a quick lunch or catering needs in Durham.
