As a couple we arrived a and saw that all the tables were reserved for a party at and were told by staff, that the chef won't be cooking for anyone else. I gather they've got their money for the night and didn't...need ours. Annoyed for the wasted journey. View all feedback.
Lovely lunch but we should have ordered the small one
Love this place. Food excellent. Friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Good choice on the menu.

Bar Manager is incredibly rude! My in laws have been visiting this venue weekly for almost a year, I have joined them on many occasions. Today when my mother in law wanted to cancel a couple of people off as my sister is now working Christmas Day she’s a nurse! the bar manager got incredibly rude and aggressive towards her. Called her a very rude offensive name! And told her to get out of her pub! If you can call ahead and see what day she’s working I’d avoid them days! Ruins a lovely little place!
Food was really nice and loads of it. We had Sunday roast, and it was very nice, except roasted potato which I think were reheated in a microwave. Small selection of beer but there is something for everyone.
