What Georgia Shaw doesn't like about Riverview Kitchen:
beautiful view, friendly staff, dog friendly and good prices. full english was pretty dirty, honest. very cheap ingredients. I would give it another one and try the pancakes. View all feedback. What Alex likes about Riverview Kitchen:
I love pancakes, and those were spectacular. There is a reason there's usually a line of people outside. It's also the first time I didn't manage to finish a portion of pancakes in the UK: that only ever happened in Canada to me But the 4 pancakes stack is HUGE, so if you're not too hungry, 2 pancakes should be more than enough. read moreRiverview Kitchen offers a beautiful setting by the river for a family breakfast, with friendly staff and lovely hash browns and sausage. However, some diners were disappointed with overcooked, dry bacon. Despite its usual stellar reputation, one reviewer felt let down by a change in seating policy. Another diner with coeliac disease experienced multiple issues with cross-contamination despite being assured otherwise. While the food was delicious, the rushed atmosphere at peak times left some feeling stressed. However, the large portions and lovely view make it a must-visit spot in Durham for pancakes and excellent service.
