Isabella's Coffee Shop - County Durham

From a warm welcome by the staff, to excellent food served, this café is one of the loveliest I have ever been to. Perfect for couples, families, friends and solo outings... oh and dogs are welcome too!

After a lukewearm reception (well we were in our walking gear) it got a lot better. The staff were lovely, the food delicious and the coffee excellent. And (by todays standards) not expensive. We will be back.

Last reviewers experience didn’t match ours at all. Food was excellent (lunchtime), service was good, staff were helpful. Wish I had come earlier because the Breakfast menu sounded great

Worst coffee shop I've ever been in. Liquid scrambled eggs and bad attitude. Staff talk about the customers behind the counter and have 0 manners

I have had the lovely pleasure of visiting here on multiple occasions. The food choices have developed over time and the prices remain reasonable. Mostly all of the staff are polite and attentive, on a couple of occasions one younger lady can appear unfriendly and gives off unpleasant vibes. It’s not always but I have to be honest. This is why it’s not 5 stars. I did visited with my family the other Saturday and service was spot on, we were super impressed.
