It seemed like I was served leftover fish from the previous night, with a hard batter, minimal fish, and even cold peas. The meal was very unpleasant.

The fish was small, the batter was hard, and the chips were cold. The peas and curry sauce were also cold. There are fried fresh and offer the old scratchings which is now becoming a rareity. There is a seating area attached for a small cost offering bread and butter alongside the meal. Whenever we visit Shildon we go to Clems it is a must place to eat when in this small town of Shildon, you just can’t come and go without a Clems meal.
