Brilliant service. Kind and friendly and excellent food every time
Lunchtime snack turned into full plate. Baked potato with cheese savoury and salad. Beautiful. Also corned beef slice and beans.once again plentyful. This was recommended by a local as we stopped for coffee during pandemic. Second visit Would I recommend Definitely. Use council car park across road in square as parking restricted to half hour.
Just finished excellent walk along Deerness Valley old railway line Durham to Crook- and ended up at good cafe...Cafe J’s in Crook. Happy little cafe with good serice and Cherie reception by team. Good grub and drinks and recommend fruit scones

This restaurant is the best in the area. I have been a loyal customer for many years and always receive excellent service and a warm welcome. The homemade pies and cakes are exceptional and I have never had a bad meal here.
