We ordered the family size fish and chips as well as a regular cod and chips, and it was truly awful. The batter was soggy and wet, the mashed potato was unappetizing, and the chips were rock hard. Went for 3 lots of fish and chips last night and was disappointed with the quality! Chips were dry and awful, fish was soggy, we threw most of it out. My advice is serve fresh chips not ones that should of been binned and stop using polystyrene boxes which makes the batter soggy, use cardboard ones. Won't be visiting again anytime soon.
Been using this chippy for years- it’s usually fab. Not been for months and used it last night. Slow service and when we got home part of the meal (battered burger) was missing. Sign says the prices go up on 17th Feb. Will use one closer to home. Chips not as nice as usual and order was full of batter scraps which weren’t wanted. What a shame.
Great chippy hot and tasty and good value spam fritter lush with tasty thick gravy been ere many times for quick takeaway after work highly recommend M
This fish and chips shop in my opinion is the best in the area, because it is CONSISTANT good food at good prices and always fresh, well done
