Great theater, however the concession does get a bit more crowded than what I am used to on a Sunday afternoon matinee. They have more than your average popcorn, so if you are looking for variety, this is you place. They also have a bar and grill in the theater for that Dinner/Movie-Date-night-all-in-one-spot experience. Haven't tried the food yet, but the popcorn is hands down my favorite. What Jaime G doesn't like about Marcus Country Club Hills Cinema:
Would love to give them 5 stars because they really did a good job on updating the theater and live the recliner seats but they member system was down and could not use your rewards and the said they week call us to get our points on the purchase for tickets and the combo meals but I haven't heard nothing from them at all and the person at the desk was very rude. The theater management tolerates inappropriate, disruptive, and disrespectful behavior from customers during movies. Teenagers, children, and adults are yelling, talking loudly, swearing, and even walking and running around. Despite the heavy police and security presence at the theater, it feels like nobody is addressing the situation. I won't be returning there again.
I really enjoyed the seating and the surround sound. However, the food prices were extremely high. I ordered a hot dog for $10, and the bread was tough!
The theater is fantastic, but the concession stand can get a bit busier than I usually prefer on a Sunday afternoon matinee. They offer a wider selection than just standard popcorn, so if you're looking for variety, this is the place for you. There's also a bar and grill in the theater, making it perfect for a dinner-and-movie date night in one convenient location. I haven't tried the food yet, but the popcorn is undoubtedly my favorite. We actually travel all the way from Joliet to Country Club Hills JUST FOR THAT POPCORN! Enjoy!
This place has gone downward. This placed needs more security in their screening rooms as many individuals under age interruption the viewing of other customers. They also need to ID these individuals and set curfews. Terrible experience.
My first time going since the price change from $5 to 6. I was amazed no more free popcorn Tuesday. The temperature was very good. I didn't need a jacket.
