We have eaten at Barley's many times, last night we took our eight year old daughter, Shorty the Foody, and they did not disappoint. She does not like onion rings but she loves theirs. The cheese pizza was cooked perfectly and the pork tenderloin was amazing. The service is excellent as always. Usually we get pictures on the reviews but we forgot to get some. View all feedback.

We are from California and decided to stop for lunch in Council Bluffs, a pleasant city. However, we were disappointed to wait nearly an hour for our food at Barleys. View all feedback.
Food and service can be hit or miss. Some days it's fantastic, other days it's over an hour to get food and it's mediocre. I suppose it depends on who's in the kitchen. We eat there frequently though.
Stopped in for a quick lunch on a 25 min lunch break, quick service, great food, awesome smiling staff! Will definitely be back when I have more time so I can enjoy their outdoor seating!
Our server, Beckett, gave my homie a kids chicken tender when she EXPLICITLY asked for FOUR chicken tenders. Ironically, his parents own the joint. He also stole her diet coke. Barley’s is good on paper, but so is Long John Silvers. I want a public apology.
Barley's never disappoints. Our waiter tonight, Beckett, was awesome. Great food, great service and awesome atmosphere.
Always 5 star food and 5 star service. If I go anywhere else, it's because Barley's is closed. Best spot in town.
