Post Plandemic visit and I'm pleased to say it's as delicious as ever. If you plan on visiting please check their website because that have varying hours. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was fantastic, it had a perfect smoked flavor and the perfect amount of char and loaded with meat. The beans are tasty and have a good amount of pork in them.So if your in the area give them a try! View all feedback.

Crumpies is easy enough to find; right off Hwy 142 in Couch, Mo. The mood is inviting with country music playing in the background and comfortable seating. We came for a late lunch early dinner however; we may not be back; at least not for the ribs. Absolutely great little barbecue place! We have been passing this place for a couple years saying we need to stop next time they're open. Dang! Why did we wait so long! We came in and sat at a cozy little round vintage table surrounded by historical pictures, implements, tools, and souvenir menus. Our waitress was one of the owners who helped us decide what to try. My best judgment of a barbecue place comes from the pulled pork sandwich and that is what I ordered. She made me nervous when she described the pork as pulled and a little chopped (I don't like it chopped) but we had pork nachos as an appetizer and my worries disappeared....tri-colored tortilla chips covered in nacho cheese, tender pulled pork, perfectly balanced sweet-tangy-slightly spicy barbecue sauce (her husband's recipe), and freshly sliced jalapeños. My husband ordered the brats, slaw, and fries. The sausage was flavorful and juicy. My pulled pork sandwich was overflowing with tender, moist pork, next to freshly shredded slaw, and hot crispy fries. Everything was perfect temperature, perfectly seasoned, and delicious! The portions were super generous. I had enough pork and slaw left over to take to work for lunch tonight. Service was just right, as well. We we checked on a few times, tea refilled, and table pre-bussed as needed. We will definitely be back for a date night to try the ribeye steak!

What a great place to stop eat drink. Food and prices are great, highly recommend this Country Gem. April waited on us and she was most excellent in every way.

The ribs I saw being served were plumb and looked delicious;; mine were just the opposite. The 3 ribs at our table were very thin and looked like they should have been served on an appetizer plate not dinner plate. I did bring this up to the staff member and was not charged for the meal. I will from now on speak to a manger if a meal looks undeserving.
