We had amazing time this rainy Sunday afternoon. Gayle was very helpful and informative on the wines as well as to what was still available to purchase. We will definitely be back and recommend the 2019 rule of three and for sweeter wine the 2020 sweet Adeline reisling. View all feedback.
What Alvena Bartell doesn't like about Carlson Creek Vineyard Main Street:
I have booked a tasting and expected that a nice relaxing full experience and our server was terrible. we were expelled and false wee cast when we were allowed 2 and half hours for our party. the waitress told me I was wrong and we had only one hour. we sat girl on a table and young one on the other and she poured over for the men and treated the girls as mixed. it was terrible and the worst experience I ever had. Stopped in yesterday at 6 pm. We had already did a few wines elsewhere and snacks. Hadn 't done Carlson Creek. We walked in. Not one person in there. even though the town was quite busy yesterday We sat at the bar.... And I wanted a glass. not a tasting . I read over the menu and decided on my choice and did my friend. no suggestions offered or any words spoken by our host . So I said.. oh my... are you closing soon? No... we close at 7:00. Oh.. so we have an hour. You would think we showed up at 5 mins to closing. She poured our wines. Then her friend came in that works at Burning Cellars.. because we saw her there . They stood behind the open wall. Not friendly... not welcoming. I took one drink. Said excuse me.. we 'll cash out. Paid and left. yes.. with an almost full glass . Went elsewhere.
Decent stop!! Cool atmosphere but there Syrah disappointed!!

Spending a month last July in Sedona, took a road trip into Cottonwood to check out the town. Were looking for wine tasting places in the town and came across Carlson Creek. It was a wonderful experience. The hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable on the wines and spent time sharing where the wines were from and history. It was fascinating to know Arizona has a viable wine business and unique from the popular California regions. The wines during our tasting all were good and wound up spending time and ordering a glass of one of the reds after tasting. The hostess also shared some history about Cottonwood which was above and beyond. Bought some of the coolest shirts here and when we wear them everyone always asks where they came from. The wine bottles in the design of the Arizona flag on the shirt, awesome way to promote AZ!! During a trip to Cottonwood, this place is worth a stop in.
Horrible customer service, skip this tasting room. The two women behind the counter could not be bothered and could careless that we just sat there for over 5 min with not as such as a hello when we walked in the door. They looked at us multiple times and if they would have been busy I would have understood but they werent. We ended up walking out and don't plan on ever going back.
