What Teresa J doesn't like about Blazin' M Ranch:
Miscommunication. At the ticket counter the lady didn't mention anything about getting a wristband after signing the waiver. I had to wait in the hot sun twice to do the axe throw View all feedback.

It's a fun experience and something to do with family and friends if you haven't gone before. The food is really good and the activities before dinner are so fun! Definitely recommend going early enough to do all the activities. Everyone there is so friendly! The show after is pretty average and a little long honestly. Kinda lost interest especially at the end. I would have preferred to have more time doing the activities and a shorter show. Also I think a great idea would be having rolls on the table while waiting for your food! It's a long wait for everyone to get their food.
Everything about this evening was fantastic, except for the rain. As firefighters, we have no problem with water, so it wasn 't much of a problem, either. We had our Annual Awards Dinner on Friday night and from what I saw, and what I 've heard from the troops, it was a smash hit!! It was fun to see the young people running the games and entertainment serving dinner, as well. Those kids are hard workers and we appreciated every one of them. When I hear, several times in one day, let 's just go there again, next year that let 's me know it was a success! Thank you to all the staff, the management, and everyone at Blazin ' M!
The concept of this place is great, and the food is very good. If you have a family with kids, they'll love it. However, the quality of the actual show has gone way downhill. They got rid of Otis, a character played by a beloved singer local singer who is exceptionally talented, which is too bad. They rearranged the stage and it's just has kind of lost its heart. However, it's a good tourist trap and if you've never been, go. But you don't need go twice.
We had a great time at Blazin' M Ranch. It is a good deal to get entertainment and food in a relaxing atmosphere. It was not crowded (like most tourist attractions), the staff was hard working and talented (everyone had multiple jobs from the pre-show activities to serving dinner, to performing), and the food was decent (as we expected- take your foodie cap off- this is BBQ on a theatrical ranch in Cottonwood, not fine dining in Sedona). We enjoyed the BB guns, giant chess board, mechanical bull, tractor ride, and lassoing. You need to be 13+ for axe throwing, so the big kids and adults had fun with that! We were surprised by how much talent was in the show for such a small town from the musicians to the singers. Overall, if you are looking to slow down, drink a beer, enjoy the scenery, and have fun playing the games and watching a show- check it out.
