Description
**A Mixed Bag at the Local Diner: A Culinary Experience in Flux**
Nestled in a small town, this classic diner offers a nostalgic atmosphere and a varied menu that garners mixed reviews. While many patrons rave about the delicious food and attentive service, long wait times have consistently marred the experience. Complaints of undercooked ingredients and missed opportunities for friendliness from the new ownership further cloud its reputation. Despite these issues, the diner remains a beloved stop for travelers, especially for those seeking hearty dishes like burgers and country fried steak. With improvements noted in food quality, it still captures the charm of a local eatery worth visiting.

Great break from birding! Lots of impossible options for vegetarian/vegans which was unexpected but awesome!!!
We had breakfast there a week ago and it was a great experience. The service was excellent, and the food had that wonderful homemade quality. Plus, the prices were very reasonable.
There aren't many classic diners left these days, but The Wilbert definitely hits the mark. They serve fantastic burgers!
The good the food was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. They seemed well staffed. The bad the wait was an hour and ten minutes for our food. We were warned there would be a wait, but that was unexpectedly long. One kitchen serves two restaurants so their capacity to get the food out sooner is limited. We were there at 12:30pm on a Saturday.
