Sweet atmosphere, friendly staff and FLAVORFUL food! The salsa is a bit smokey with just a touch of sweetness. The beer was cold and the Margarita was strong. Don't come here unless you're wanting sweet food. The salsa was super sweet with absolutely no spice. I ended up ordering nachos with jalapeños hoping that would give me some heat. The first time here. It was a great experience. Super clean, great staff and excellent food! The shrimps are very recommended!! The blood oranges and blackberry margaritas were also really good! I will put this on my list of regular places!!!
It has a very rustic feeling. It was quiet and cozy. The food was okay, but I would say it was far away from authenticity if you were looking for it. I would compare it to putting sugar on your spaghetti because everything is very sweet. I always ask for a hot salsa when I go to get tacos that do not exist here. I would love a variety for the Salsas green, sweet, hot etc. The volcano Lava Burrito lacked the volcano the only lava I tasted was the color of the sauce. The sauce was compatible with the heat you get from the view of the puppy bowl on TV. I will say that you will be full because it is 90 percent rice and 10 percent protein. The redeemed qualities are the atmosphere is very beautiful, the price is appropriate 10-15 a plate 5.99 for children, and if you want to drink the menu has a variety of flavors for the virgins for the children. Not terrible at all.
For lunch... They have a great turn on their kitchen. Salsa is made fresh with a touch of sweet, add the hot sauce, the type of taste like wing sauce. I mixed it together and WOW was a new idea. The chips were thinly crispy as I like them and the rice I don't get out of my head. Not sticky or cooked just perfect!! The food was great! Love his take on Mexican/American cuisine. I can't wait to go back.
I had the beef enchiladas, 3 to an order. They tasted fine although they were more new age than traditional. Not spicy at all. The enchiladas are not served with any sides. The salsa was a little sweet for my taste. My buddy's tacos looked good but I didn't mooch a bite so I can't say for sure. Good thing I wasn't starving. The overall experience was good but nothing like being in New Mexico.
Great folks. Very friendly. Good selection. Salsa was okay but lacked any hint of cilantro so it was rather dull. Fast service.
