We waited about 40 minutes for our food, which was understandable given how busy it was on a Sunday night, but we were served quickly, and the staff was incredibly efficient. The food was wonderful; no one in our group had any complaints, apart from joking about feeling too full! The quiz was a lot of fun and provided great entertainment.

The staff at the fairmaid in Cottingham are very friendly and courteous,and the food is excellent,fairly priced, with generous sized portions,and you can also watch the sport on the numerous televisions,if you are into that sort of thing.
Comfortable pub with lots of screens for sports fans, with a good selection of hand pulled beers. Reasonably priced food and very cheerful staff. Excellent beer garden and outside seating. Great value for money.
First visit and have to say we will be back and all down to the staff! We received a warm reception with some humor and they even remember who had which drink when we re ordered, given the venue was packed! Good quality good, clean venue, great staff, so who ever is running the business is doing it right!
We have eaten here last week and eating was amazing! this beautiful, welcoming, family friendly pub can no longer recommend! great atmosphere, tasty eating and friendly staff / management! highly recommended!
