I bought the poke dish that came with a delicious salad and soup. They were very understanding when I mentioned that I could not have Mayo and re-ordered my order for me without additional costs. Very nice local business and it is great to order sushi prepared by a proper cook. It is very close to my Chiropractic Clinic and they won me with their generosity. I will certainly recommend it! What David Brekke doesn't like about Sushi Cafe:
I ordered the singanoodle, spicy tuna roll, and tuna poke bowl via doordash. I eat a lot of sushi and Thai food and to be honest this was the worst. I'm not sure what was on the poke bowl but it tasted like yum yum sauce, which tastes like yuk yuk! The singanoodle was about as good as my child making chicken Ramen noodle and adding shrimp, and there was no egg. The spicy tuna roll was the equivalent of cub foods sush... View all feedback.

My son and I came today at the opening time (we are from Hastings) I'm pregnant and enjoying sushi (that's not the best known) they were very kind and helped me find a role I can eat safely! I also ordered the pad Thai, the AMAZING and a very large part. My son had the orange chicken bow box and let me tell you the best orange chicken we've ever had! It came with fried rice, sommes, salad, a fried egg roll and a soda!!!100% the best egg roll I ever had! The cream cheese soldiers were on the sweet side, but also very good. The Matcha boba tea is also in place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! You could wait a bit, but with such food it's worth it.
Really great Poke dishes and miso soup from a local family business restaurant (I think I have heard some children in the back! Ingredients were fresh and sauces were delicious. They are set up for delivery and take off. Great sushi spot for southeast subway.
My fiancée and I have been here for several years, about once a month, and they are a wonderful sushi shop that is reasonable prices. But the last two visits the food was lack of shine. The cream cheese Krangoo was bitter and sour with another pack that gyoza seemed less than normal meat and more vegetables, and the sushi seemed a little slender. It seems that at the moment they are lowering costs that I can understand during the pandemic, but it has thought twice about going here.
What a surprise!! This place is amazing. I didnt think a tiny sushi place out in the suburbs can serve up such delicious food. Boy, was I wrong. We came once before but was turned away because of the price. But after reading constant positive reviews from a local FB page, I had to try. I ordered the salmon poke bowl with greens. It came with miso soup and side salad. The ginger dressing for the salad was awesome; it was the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and subtle spice. The poke bowl was the best part, generous portions of meat. I was afraid the bowl was going to be 80% greens, which is how other places do it because they're stingy cheap. The fish tasted great and the toppings were great. I would love to go back. The CA roll was good too.
