While some praise the friendly atmosphere and generous portions of classic pub fare, others express disappointment over misleading online menus, inattentive staff, and subpar food quality. Noteworthy highlights include a pleasant beer garden and dog-friendly dining, which appeal to many. Still, concerns about rowdy clientele and inconsistent service detract from its charm. Ultimately, this establishment offers potential for a lovely meal, yet may not meet the expectations set by its polished online presence.
Wonderful food, beautifully cooked and presented. the desserts are light and delicious fabulous service highly recommended
In all the years we went into the swan, never knew that they had a shy ally until tonight, great local pub fantastic owners and staff....oh...and thanks for the history of lection
Last minute to dinner stopped. I didn't book, but the friendly staff had a table. the vegetarian variants of veggie sausages, maic, carrots/broccoli with fried wobble engraving (see picture). very tasty, filling, but not heavy and under £10.
Had a really nice meal. we would recommend the pub. nice friendly atmosphere and friendly staff it is also dog friendly, although they have to eat in the bar, but I think that the rule in most pubs. the prices are also appropriate.
We had an evening meal here and Sunday lunch and the food was good and reasonably priced. The staff here are friendly and attentive. We would recommend.
