What davout doesn't like about Sherborne Village Shop And Tea Room:
We stopped for a late lunch after walking in the Windrush valley. Inside it's more shop than cafe with only three tables available. Outside on the lawn there are another half a dozen tables, and on a good day that's the place to be.My bacon and brie panini was superb, and my wife thought the broccoli soup to be very good. Beautiful small shop with a cafe built in. We visited after a walk close by and loved it! There are only a few tables as the cafe is really an extension of the shop but it's so cute and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Sandwiches, fresh cakes, and a couple of hot options available, we had afternoon tea at £9.45 (tea, sandwiches, cake, scone) or just have a bacon sandwich at about £4.50 I think.
