Description

Nestled in a charming town, this café presents an inviting atmosphere with a simple menu of jacket potatoes, paninis, and sandwiches. While some patrons experienced service hiccups—including slow wait times and misunderstandings—many praised the friendly staff and fresh ingredients. Highlights included delightful cake selections and well-prepared drinks, although inconsistency in food quality and presentation was noted. Diners enjoyed a mix of satisfying meals, from hearty full English breakfasts to tasty baked potatoes, but some found certain dishes lacking. Despite mixed reviews, the café’s homey vibe and potential for improvement make it a spot worth visiting.

Stopping in for coffee and a bacon sandwich! Lots of lovely looks cakes on offer, staff were helpful and talkative. Food and drinks were nice and were fairly priced. The specials sounded really nice, will definitely be back at lunch time to try them!

Great service and a great tea shop. Good choices of light lunches. We had a lovely cup of coffee and toasted tea cake. Bigger than it looks from the outside there were plenty of table in the back.

Stopped here for lunch after being out for the morning. We had jacket potatoes, one with chilli the other with mushrooms and bacon, both were very nice. Tea comes in a pot which you get about 3 cups, I had milkshake which was good.

This is probably the closest thing in Tetbury to a proper café. By that, I mean that this is the place you'd go if you wanted to escape from the usual Tetbury pretentiousness. The café itself is very clean, with plenty of tables and garden seating as well. I had a piece of coffee cake, which was very substantial in size, but rather sickly tasting. My coffee was also pretty tasteless. I had a flat white, which is normally quite strong, but in Lyndseys it is served like a latte but in a normal coffee cup. Average at best; will not rush back.

Cant give it a zero. Shame. Called in at 11am on a Saturday. The place was empty but Signs said table service take a seat . We did. We waited, and waited and waited. We heard the conversation of staff but no one came to take our order. Eventually, after 10 minutes we got up and left, went 4 doors up to the blue zuchini which was busy and friendly. Had to pass lindsays on the way back to the car at 1.30pm. Still completely empty despite everywhere else being busy.
