Lovely, warm welcome. Food was fabulous and staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked for lunch, having walked from Moreton-in-Marsh. Lots of options available to add this stop into your walk. Would definitely go back.
If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast, look no further. My friend and I turned up last Sunday, 3 September, (my birthday) for an early dinner, unfortunately we were informed that last orders for food was at 4pm. We arrived at 3 minutes past but the landlord happily took our order and we were served one of the best, sumptuous, delicious roast meals I’ve ever had. My friend had the chicken which was a small mountain of meat, floating on a Yorkshire pudding and roasties. I had the lamb which was melt in the mouth and we were served baton carrots, cabbage and cheesy leeks which were freshly cooked and steaming hot, with lashings of gravy. Absolutely hit the spot, and fantastic value for money. My little puppy was welcomed too and she enjoyed the lamb and left over bits of chicken as well. Highly recommended.
Brilliant pub , fabulous atmosphere. Exceptionally well trained and friendly staff. Fabulous beer and gin .
The Coach and Horses in Longborough is a charmingly traditional pub with excellent service. The food is served promptly and is always hot. It is also affordable, making it a highly recommended dining option. - Jacky Morris.
We’re firm fans of this pub. Very friendly and they do a mean Sunday roast. Particularly like the way you can choose small, medium and large roasts. We had takeaway roasts during lockdown which were lovely and visited today for the first time since the restrictions have eased. Great lunch and very reasonably priced can’t go too far wrong here.
