I didn't have the best experience here. I think they had a free day and were understated because most tables complain about the same things. It took an hour to bring our two appetizers and another hour after that to our...main thing. Until then we had lost our appetite. This charming restaurant is located in a natural environment a short drive from the city. It serves some of the best food in Mazamitla. I had the pleasure of enjoying 3 consecutive meals in Gigi’s and every guest was perfectly prepared. I enjoyed her homemade rustic bread and was impressed by the selection of wines. This restaurant can be the best secret in Mazamitla! I'll be back.
On Friday afternoon we drove on a nice trip to Gigi's. What a pleasant experience to sit outside in the forest. Not only was the cowboy steak, as I like, the cream of my man from pistachio soup was delicious! We shared the mushroom remover and was the best we had in the area. The bonus was the wine list and we enjoyed a bottle of ViceVersa, which is a red blend of Spain. I would recommend this restaurant and we will come back!
Waiters are kids. I believe, kids of the owner. Because of that, they are unprofessional. I was brought a dirty fork and did not receive any excuses. Another problem they don't take cards. Cash only. Boxes to go don't have any lid. Quality of...food is awesome, place is awesome, but unprofessionals ruin everything.
We ate there with friends who are regulars. The food was great; desserts amazing and good wine, beer and liquor selection. This restaurant is located outside of town and is beautifully landscaped. Family owned and operated. The owner, an expat Belgian was very interesting and...visited with the tables when we were there. He even brought out his guitar and sang.
