The sushi is awesome 95% of the time! The only downside is that the hours posted online are not true. I have gone at 5:30, and 5:00 and the store was still open but was told by the staff that they were closed and I can’t order. Also had the chef try to get me to buy one of the pre made combos that they had ready to go instead of making the order I wanted. Overall a decent place and staff is usually really polite. What Mo Money doesn't like about Metsuyan Sushi Express:
Good food, good prices, horrible service. They can't seem to get an order right, and when you receive less than you payed for (eg.: they ran out of something and decided to simply not call you about it before sending the order out), they claim it's impossible or they don't know how to refund you. We had a good time here. We came in as a group of 7 around closing time, and bought everything available. The lady gave us a huge discount too, they stayed past closing to ensure everything is ok for us and were polite and friendly.This is in a mall, so no real expectations from the atmosphere : , but it's a nice clean place right in the food court, which is also well maintained.We're very happy to come again if we'll be in the Montreal area.Dietary restrictions: Under strict orthodox kosher supervision
They are very sweet people. I got the mango tango. It was fresh and good. I requested it on a plate because I don’t like wasting plastic unnecessarily. I think all businesses need to start asking is it for here or to go and only using to go containers if a customer says to go. Also there are takeout containers that aren’t made of plastic that all businesses should invest in and charge more for if necessary to stay in business. It’s something we should all be responsible for
Very tasty sushi and nice service. fresh and tasty definitely recommend and will come again. Special thanks to chef Bella she is a master of her craft and makes amazingly delicious sushi and is very attentive to the requirements of customers
