Redwood Cafe Coffee House Grill

The food was good, except that I ordered smoked salmon Benedict and the salmon tasted sour like it had been left out of the fridge 15 mins too long. So I bring it back and this lady comes out do defensively trying really hard to convince me that it was fine, and my brother tasted it too and said it was sour, so I wasn’t crazy. It just felt like this lady was gaslighting me going as far as coming back to our table when she brought my replacement (eggs and bacon) with more salmon telling me it was fresh and just overall ruining my breakfast.

Redwood Cafe is a cozy little cafe with outside seating in an open tent. It is rustic with a small fireplace. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to you. The food is excellent cooked the way you want it. Friendly staff patrons.

Nice place for coffee and chill with your friends, they usually have a band playing music here.

Our family of 4 (kids 8 and 10) had to stop in Petaluma to do laundry during our trip from Seattle to San Francisco . We googled places to eat and tried Redwood Cafe. It was excellent. Food was very good, it was self serve but food came quickly once ordered. Good for kids as well. I’d highly recommend if you need a place to stop.

We always enjoy the food and music here! Last night was Marshall House Project and Dylan Black Project and both bands were excellent! Turn warmer weather they have outdoor seating also which I always appreciate!
