Some diners described the food as excellent with dishes like lamb and filet mignon that were flavorful and satisfying. However, others had issues with the quality and temperature of their food, as well as with the service. Despite some inconsistencies, many guests appreciated the convenient location near the performing arts center and the attentive staff. Prices were considered high by a few, but many found them justified for the quality of cuisine served. Overall, Leatherby's is a popular choice for a pre-show meal in Orange County.
It was not my usual experience when I've been there before. Server seemed rushed possible more servers needed. I was waiting for an offer for a second glass of wine ,which didnt happen til dessert which was offered ,after a longer than usual wait after the dinner plates were removed. We felt were we forgotten.Service is usually perfect
Always an enjoyable dining experience at Leatherby's Cafe Rouge. The menu is great. The restaurant is located perfectly for performances at the Symphony and you can actually hear yourself speak while enjoying great food
Food is outstanding, but the menu is much too limited. There needs to be more variety
The soup arrived promptly and was the perfect temperature. The salad was attractive and quite delicious. I was very pleased
It is a very nice venue that it is so close to SCFTA. The food is good, but not great, and the menu is somewhat limited. We had to remind the waiter about our wine with dinner choice. There were a couple of issues with our Friends of the Center rewards, and wonder why Open Table points are not available when we can make reservations on its booking site. I'd recommend it with the above mentioned comments
