La Vida Cantina - Costa Mesa

I went there for my friend's birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food was below average, and I ended up feeling unwell afterward. They had promised my friend that the music would have a Latin vibe, which makes sense for a Mexican restaurant, but both DJs were not great. They really should have been able to gauge the atmosphere, as hardly anyone was dancing. Overall, I have to give this place a thumbs down; it was a letdown, with bland food and overly greasy chips that caused my stomach issues.

I had an amazing time! The bottomless mimosas were perfect and kept flowing, so I lost track of how many I had. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was a great experience!

I've visited this place multiple times and have learned to avoid ordering from the happy hour menu. The food isn't as great compared to the regular menu items. The service is generally good, but it can get quite crowded, and the wait time can be long on busy days!

Very disappointed. The food was okay our waitress was amazing. My mother and I needed to use the restroom and she didn't want them to think that we disappeared on the check. She walked over to let them know. When we came back to the restroom our table was completely cleaned off. My mom and I look at each other like what just happened! We go sit there waiting for the bill. The waitress brings it to us cuz it's sitting on another table. As we're trying to fill out the receipt to pay the employee walks over with a tablecloth and makes us move from the table. We then had to stand by the register to pay like we were at fast food. Not a great experience for our first time being out of new restaurant.

You have to be extra careful because they take advantage of you if you are buying drinks! Be very wary of what you buy because they will purposely add things to your tab to make money! Never going there again for one person they charged me almost 400 hmmmmmmm and they stopped responding nah these people are crooks!
