Been here a couple of times and things have been great so far. Country fried steak and eggs, French toast, waffles etc....trust me, its all good. Place gets packed but we got super lucky...right place at the right time. Service was good....although my kids almost got hit with a cork from a bottle being opened...crazy brush crowd ?Kid-friendliness: Whole family! View all feedback.
What Jasmine doesn't like about Broken Yolk Cafe:
I ordered the chilaquiles bowl with carne asada. The carne asada was bland, and the salsa was very sour and needed salt. The coffee was very bitter tasted like it had been burnt, I had to add a lot of creamer sugar for it to taste somewhat good. I'm giving it 2 stars because my daughter enjoyed her pancakes ? and my husband enjoyed his skillet.Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant.Parking: Inside of a plaza. View all feedback.
Tried the chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs. The fried steak was great, but the gravy was awful, no flavor, just thick flower and water. The biscuit looked good, it was huge! But sadly dry, and without good gravy, well did not eat much of it. Eggs were luke warm. Service was pretty good for as busy and NOISY it was.Food: 2/5

The food is excellent! I ordered the strawberry crepes with chocolate sauce. Best crepes I ever had! The service was not to good for a party of twelve- I recommend insisting the service be coordinated if you are seated at separate tables. But our food was outstanding!Kid-friendliness: We had a total of three kids under 18; two under ten; all three kids were happy with the food.Wheelchair accessibility: I was in a wheelchair, and both dining and restrooms were very accessible.
The Fullerton location has better tasting food and drinks. The mimisa fight taste ranges from sweet to not sweet. At this location they all tasted the same and the bubbly made me cringe. I didn't fish the flight. My hash browns were a little too burnt on some spots. The home fries didn't get eaten.
First time in Cali. This was a great choice for brunch on a Saturday morning. Had the tiki French toast. Very tasty. Didn't even need extra syrup. Was wonderful as it was served.Food: 5/5
