The Capital Grille - Costa Mes

The restaurant was very accommodating in changing our table to a more suitable location. They also provided a decanter for my '99 Chateau Pavie. Our server Autumn was friendly, informative, efficient and attentive. The meal was excellent. Overall a great evening. Thanks to all!

Every facet of the dining experience is five stars with Capital Grille. From ambiance, service, menu and food preparation, nothing is left to chance. This restaurant is my number 1 choice for dining in Southern California.

A few of my co-workers and myself took one of our co-workers out to lunch for her 50th birthday to the Capital Grille in Costa Mesa. I asked if they were able to print Happy Birthday in the menu for her and they did in addition to sprinkling some happy birthday confetti on the table which added a little special touch and she was extremely happy and excited. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. The only two things that I would mention that resulted in a 4 star verses 5 stars is that it took a little longer for the entrees to come out and one of my co-workers sent her tenderloin Cobb salad back because it wasn't medium well enough for her. It was then returned overcooked and she wasn't as pleased with her salad as my other co-worker and myself was. Overall it was a fantastic birthday lunch and we all would definitely return.

We sat in the horseshoe booth and Tom was our server. I go to Capitol often and Tom was by far the best server with the best knowledge I have ever had. I will always ask for Tom when making a reservation.
