Great Starbucks location in Costa Mesa on 17th street and Westminster. Mobile order section ran well and employee handed me my drink in timely

I go in the early morning, the two ladies that work there are a treat when it comes to customer service. Food is Starbucks quality as expected, good but not the best.

Came in the store with my best friend who was having a really bad day. They were in the middle of cleaning the female employee empathize with how she was feeling. She made our drink so quick and even gave my friend a cake pop. She was so sweet. Thank you for having employees like her.

I normally wouldn't bother reviewing a Starbucks unless there is something totally messed up or happens consistently. Well again first world problem But I order online, walk in and apparently the order isn't ready. OK no big deal I give her my name and am told it will be right up. I wait, wait, wait and nothing. Turns out she just got distracted and forgot. They put a sign i. The front to don't reach over to look for your drink if you ordered online. Ignore it. You can't rely on them to remember. This is like the 4th time I got a cold cup of coffee so it's my fault for following the rules. So much wasted time. I may just switch to Peet's. ‍

We have come here three times during our vacation. We choose this location for the convenience of a drive thru, but it has been anything but convenient. All three times our orders came wrong and today, the first and only time we asked them to correct it, they just dumped the original drinks into different cups and added ice. This after waiting in the drive thru for almost 20 minutes with only 3 other cars in front of us. I would not recommend this sbux at all.
