Let us start with the one positive aspect of this interaction. My pizza was free. Thank God. The very nice lady who works there refused to accuse me for whom I am very grateful. Now to the negatives. I ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and was told they would arrive in 30 to 40 minutes. 1 hour and 5 minutes later, I called a status update. The woman I mentioned above apologized, said they had marked it as a pickup and said she would deliver it herself. The pizza arrived 15 minutes later. After waiting for me 1 hour and 20 minutes, I was so excited to dig, but when I opened the box, all hope was lost. I had ordered a vegan #12 (Pepperoni, Sausage and many Vegetables) and built it even with vegan cheese and pepperoni and pineapple. What I received was 2 pizzas with only peppermint and sausage. And the pizza looked like a burnt cracker. The crust was about 1/8 thick and all edges were burned. Overall, it tasted very similar to a frozen Daiya pizza from the grocery store, but for 4 times the price. I wonder if they sent me the gluten-free crust? I have no idea if the gluten-free crust is vegan or not. But it didn't look like the pizza on her website. Overall, I was cheated that I didn't find a great pizza place. But I'm relieved that I didn't pay for the experience either. Updated by previous review on 2021-09-27
I'll start with the one positive aspect of this experience. My pizza was complimentary, which was a relief. The kind lady at the restaurant decided not to charge me, for which I am grateful. Now, onto the negatives. I had ordered 2 pizzas for delivery with a promised arrival time of 30 to 40 minutes. After waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes, I called for an update. The lady I spoke to apologized and mentioned that they mistakenly marked the order for pickup instead of delivery. She promised to deliver it herself, and the pizzas arrived 15 minutes later. However, after waiting a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes, my excitement turned to disappointment as I opened the boxes. I had ordered a vegan #12 pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and veggies, as well as a build-your-own pizza with vegan cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple. But what I received were two pizzas with only pepperoni and sausage toppings. The pizzas themselves looked overcooked, with a thin burnt crust. The taste was similar to a frozen daiya pizza from the supermarket, but at a much higher price. I wonder if they mistakenly gave me a gluten-free crust, as it did not resemble the pizzas advertised on their website. Overall, I was disappointed to not find a great pizza place, but at least I didn't have to pay for the underwhelming experience.
