Was Todd Miller at Interzone a mag?
The baristas at this café are meticulous and consistently brew an outstanding double shot. It's the kind of spot that invites you to order a coffee and linger for a while, whether to read or write. I also admire the artwork on the walls and the vintage style of the tables and chairs. View all feedback.
What EABessel dislikes about Interzone:
Decent food, prepared quickly. The veggie sandwich (on a bagel) was served upside down and seemed to be missing its seasoning. Still quite tasty, though. College town/90s cafe vibes. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-10 View all feedback.

They serve brunch until 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays. They have multiple all-vegan brunch options. Definitely the best vegan brunch in town!
Interzone is a cafe style shop offering coffee and breakfast on the weekends They have a whole vegan breakfast menu and a vegan bagel sandwich. Limited seating, but a great atmosphere. You can really tell that they care about sustainability and repurposing items such as their decor.
Greasy greasy food. I would not go back for weekend brunch. Muffin was great. Spendy for what it was. I wish I took a photo.
I've never had a bad cup of coffee here, and believe me, I've tried plenty! The vegan bagel is also fantastic. It's so great to find a delicious vegan option!
Interzone is a cozy café offering coffee and breakfast on weekends. They feature a complete vegan breakfast menu, along with a delicious vegan bagel sandwich. Although seating is limited, the atmosphere is fantastic. You can truly feel their commitment to sustainability, reflected in their decor and choice of materials.
Nestled in the heart of Corvallis, Interzone is a vibrant café that offers a delightful mix of coffee and vegan breakfast options. While many patrons rave about the fantastic coffee and friendly staff, experiences with the food are mixed—some find it lacking in quality and warmth. The café's quirky ambiance reflects a commitment to sustainability, making it a charming spot for a quick bite or leisurely brunch. Despite some service hiccups, the overall atmosphere and excellent espresso make Interzone a worthwhile stop for those seeking a taste of the local scene.

My mom and I stopped at Interzone during a recent trip to Corvallis. She ordered The Avocado which was a vegetarian sandwich consisting of an egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato, black olives, and condiments. My mom said it was good, but messy. I ordered the veggie sandwich, which is vegan. It had a great overall flavor, the hummus on it was tasty, as well as the vegetables. There isn 't a whole lot to choose from for a vegan, but they do offer an assortment of pastries, vegetarian options, coffee, and they do have wifi. The service was a bit slow for what we ordered, but I believe it was qualified because the food was good. The cafe has a cool feel to it, they 're always playing good tunes. The price was moderate for what we ordered, maybe 15$ for two sandwiches and a natural soda.
I have never had a bad cup of coffee here, and I've had quite a few. Their vegan bagel is also delicious! It's always great to find a tasty vegan option.
During our visit to Corvallis, we had a great experience at A Laune. My wife and I both really enjoyed it, and we look forward to coming back the next time we’re in the city.
Great coffee, great food with bountiful vegan options all store baked pastries are vegan! Staff are great.
I love Interzone. They make delicious vegan treats, particularly their vegan coffee cake. The coffee is yummy. They've hired only the nicest people. They go out of their way to give good service even if they see you everyday. I love this place!

The coffee here is excellent, with a wide variety of options including decaf and sugar-free choices. The tea is also fantastic. To top it all off, the customer service is outstanding—everyone is super friendly and helpful!
The food and coffee are great! It's a nice place to sit and read for a while, or if you're in a rush you can grab a cup to go. The employees are always helpful and fast, and I always have a good experience here.
Autumn is the coolest employee I've ever seen before, wow! So cool!
Interzone is a cornerstone of the quintessential Corvallis experience. Over my 15yrs as a regular customer here, I have yet to find a better cup of coffee around. In pre-covid times people could find great small music shows at interzone. One thing that will always be at the zone is AMAZING art! They always feature local artists and the store itself is a work of art. The owner and staff are brilliant people and valued members of the community. Annnnd the food is bomb. 10/10 highly recommend.
I absolutely love the atmosphere at this restaurant; it's lively and has a charming college-town vibe—so full of character! The staff is wonderful—super friendly and genuine. It's a shame I live too far away to go often. They have an excellent variety of espresso and a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes! I would highly recommend it!

I visited Interzone today (09/30/2022) around 12:25 PM. It was my first time back at this small, trendy spot since before the pandemic, and I was really looking forward to enjoying my old favorite drink, a London Fog. The person at the counter taking my order was very kind and offered me a new punch card, which I gladly accepted. However, I ended up waiting for about 20 minutes as everyone who ordered after me was served first. Eventually, a taller older gentleman who had been making all the drinks approached me in a brusque and rude manner, asking if I was waiting for something. When I told him my order, he made it clear it hadn’t even been started. Realizing I was almost late for class, I was frustrated to have wasted my entire break standing in the coffee shop with food from another place that I’d been looking forward to eating. While the atmosphere here is great, it unfortunately doesn’t make up for the poor customer service. The owner or management really needs to address the behavior of the male employee who worked today.
This cozy spot is my go-to for a relaxing latte. They use high-quality beans and offer a fantastic variety of dairy-free options. The staff are not only talented but also wonderfully unique. Corvallis is fortunate to have Interzone. I almost forgot to mention—their Mediterranean-inspired breakfast dishes with a creative twist are delicious. Definitely give this place a try!
The coffee at this place is excellent, but the food falls short. We ordered breakfast this morning, and even though we were informed about the wait time, our meal took half an hour to arrive and was served cold. The tofu scramble had very few pieces of tofu, which was quite disappointing. Still, I would come back just for the coffee. If you’re after a satisfying meal, I suggest trying Ants on a Log instead.
Once I finally received my drink, my girlfriend and I settled in and shared a good laugh over something on my phone for about five minutes. However, an employee approached us and asked us to keep the noise down. To make matters worse, the coffee was disappointing. In the end, I suppose the $12 spent was worth it just for the lesson in figuring out where not to go for the rest of our time at school.
I've been savoring the same hazelnut latte for years. The espresso is strong, the milk is creamy, and the syrup has a sweet yet natural taste. I rate it a perfect 5 out of 5!

This place is a disaster. No urgency to getting customer orders out. Watched them fumble some of the coffee orders. The person taking orders is also the same person that makes your bagels without gloves. If you are going to accept money, touch the same screen as customers, then please wash your hands or wear gloves before touching peoples food! The coffee is so-so and they have no idea what a Cortado is. When you order a Cortado from Interzone, you are getting shots of espresso with a tiny amount of milk. A Cortado should be equal parts espresso and warm milk. If you don't have shot glasses tall enough for equal parts of espresso and warm milk, then either invest in some or don't serve Cortados.
