Reception staff was very friendly and pleasant on my entrance. I got my order a little longer than I hoped. But it was good. We have chicken and beef sawarma, it was best that I have ever eaten in a Mediterranean restaurant. I hope to visit here soon. Five more stars. But Snap memo> pomegranate juice did not taste like pomegranate juice. I'm not sure how it tasted. Weird. View all feedback.
What Nola Lebsack doesn't like about Crystal's King Of Falafel Cuisine:
$17 plate with chicken and falafel, came with salad, no rice included for that price. Chicken tasted stewed rather than the grilled chicken I expected, falafel was mealy and they covered it all in a sauce I didn't care for, didn't say covered in sauce on the menu. The portion size was huge but I threw it away after eating about 1/4.
Have been going here since I started at OSU and it 's probably the best college-y food available on Monroe. Everything they have is great, especially the chicken schwarma and smoothies. Owner is a stand-up guy too, though when it 's busy service is admittedly slower than average, so don 't go if you 're in a rush. Still, 100% recommend!
I loved the lamb sharwerma here. The owner was also super nice and dedicated.
A favorite spot. Very good food. Friendly service, but slow.
Good beef shawarma: both over rice or in a wrap is great.
The owner was interested in us, and served us generous menu portions.
