The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I made a fun order and simply told them what I wanted, and they turned it into a vegan version. They also recommended some delicious items that were new to me. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tarn Tip Thai Cuisine:
I thought the food at Tarn Tip was pretty average. Not the best Thai food I ever had, but it wasn't bad. I feel like my pad Thai had fish sauce in him, although I said I was vegan and also asked about the Tofu pad Thai with vegetables. I can't confirm, but it tasted very salty and almost like I remember eating fish sauce. I would only recommend double check with the staff via vegan alternatives and workarounds before... Mediocre Thai food. Nearly everything we got was so sugary and salty you couldn't taste much else. The glass noodle salad was drenched in lime juice which made it sour and unbalanced. Vegetables were barely cut, making for giant chunks of barely cooked veg sitting in watery sauces. Bafflingly, the pad Thai had a pile of raw purple cabbage on top which just detracted from the dish. I come here once a year to see if anything's improved and so far nothing. I will say the salad rolls are very nice. The service was also generally good. Lastly if you do come here, avoid the dining room directly to the left of the entrance. We got seated there and the room had an awful, overpowering odor like mildew mixed with sweat or something. Extremely unpleasant.
I didn’t know what happened, the pork skin rice is WAY~~TOO Greasy, which I don’t feel well after eating this. The soup with coconut mushroom basil was too sour, but you can adjust the spice level. The crispy chicken taste similar to Korean fried chicken with orange chicken sauce on it. The most important part I feel extremely weird is that YOU HAVE TO SPENT EXTRA MONEY FOR TAP WATER. The food was super greasy and salty but I can’t have any water unless I paid for it. WEIRD RULE!!!! I will be contemplating over and over to give this restaurant a chance to come back visit again(maybe). Overall, greasy, salty, overpriced, slow served speed, and the most important NO WATER!!!!!!
The food is decent, not amazing, and they refuse to answer their phone so good luck placing a to-go order!
Everything here is delicious and the service is great. The only reason I’m giving them a 4 star is because there closed on Sunday, which is when I usually eat out. Love their pad see ewe though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I haven't gotten many different dishes from this place but their drunken noodles, pad thai, all their Currys, and their spring rolls are excellent!!! I would give them ten stars if I could! I will always love their food and they are also very nice to their costumers. Vegetarian options: I myself am not vegetarian but I do have family members that are and they love their options. I have had their tofu and it is SO GOOD!! And all their veggies are well seasoned and tast pretty fresh. Kid-friendliness: I've been going here since I was about 7 years old and they were always very nice and kind to me.
