My husband and I had the best time here. It's so nice to have a more upscale restaurant here in Cortland to escape for a date night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is so welcoming, and the 20-layer crepe cake... forget it! It was one of the best desserts I had. You will not be disappointed... give Mangia an attempt! What Mary Brown doesn't like about Mangia E Statti Zitto!:
Ambiance was great. Food, meh. Gave us plain olive oil for dipping our bread. There should have been some balsamic vinegar mixed in for a good contrast. The bread was tasty. Food was 3/5, not bad, but lacking. Husband had chicken parmesean, it didnt look great, but was ok. I had roasted vegetables with chicken. Mine was great.I think this restaurant is struggling.Service was good View all feedback.
This is an adorable little Italian restaurant in Cortland NY. The food came out to us quickly and was very good. Especially the chicken wings, the med sauce was phenomenal ! The only thing I wasn't wowed by was the pasta itself. I would definitely go back in a heart beat.
We should have walked right out when the staff didn't know how to pronounce the name when we asked. The wait staff were super nice, on their toes and helpful! However, the food was not great. We won't return.
Fresh “ home made” authentic Italian food. Pleasant atmosphere and competent wait staff and service folks. Worth the trip.
My wife and I had eaten there a month ago and really enjoyed it. On our next trip to Cortland we wanted to take our son out for a great Italian dinner while we were in town. I will never go back! We walked in and were immediately asked if we had reservations. We stated that we did not and we’re told they were only seating folks with reservations. To say we were shocked is an understatement. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant and it was about 1 Hr and 45 minutes to maybe an 1.5 hrs before closing. We were a party of three and from the last time when it was just my wife and I, we knew we would have easily spent $100 for dinner that night. Not sure how many of you would want to throw away an easy $100. Then once in the vehicle, a waitress ran out asking if we took the store receipt with us and when I explained that we didn’t even get past the hostess stand, she said oops and ran off to one of the few other cars in the parking lot. I took a photo of the lot and I would guess half of those are staff. Just tell me you’re short handed or it might take a little longer to be served and etc. but don’t use a lame excuse, when I can clearly see in the parking lot that nobody is around.
