Le Glacier - Corte

We took a square of lamb and boar. It was succulent! the muscat was divinely good, and passed by himself. Finally for dessert, the chestnut marrow is simply the best of our 10-day Corsican stay! God knows a lot of restaurants, but this one. You can't pass! at the reception, the restaurant is held by a very charming and very commercial family! I highly recommend it!

Great location, i prefer the roadside terrace which provides a Great people watching opportunity! Very pleasant bar with lovely views of the fountain opposite!

We was a group of 11 and it started quite well except for some of the tables no be stable. The starters was ok. We have all ordered the same main course and then two was served. After a very long time the remaining finally was served. The restaurant includes a dog running around trying to get some food. I know it's probably not owned by the restaurant but it was annoying. Finally they forgot to serve ordered coffee. The staff included two young men and they need more training.

We stopped here for a light lunch during our visit to Corte. The menu advertised paninis and when we ordered we were told we could only have sandwiches. We ordered ham and cheese but the baguette that arrived had no cheese. The cappuccinos were expressos in a tiny cup with froth on top. The waitress smoked inside the cafe with others who seemed to be friends.

Family restaurant, good food in large servings, sympatic service, a good address.
