Marin Pizza - Corte Madera

While the salad was fresh and crunchy, which I appreciated, I wasn’t there for a salad. As for the pizza, it’s hard to label it as such. It was thick and messy, and the crust was more like a sweet bread than anything resembling traditional pizza. There was a sign claiming it was the best pizza in Marin, and I’m left wondering how that could be true. On the bright side, the service was better than what I had read in other reviews. Overall, I’ll give it two stars for the pleasant ambiance and free soda refills.

I really hoped for a better experience. The Margherita pizza was more like a soup than a pizza. The crust might have been decent, but the sauce was a watery pink mess. The staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. Three guys near us were hoping for a beer while watching the Duke basketball game. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I came in with my two kids and waited 45 minutes for our pizza, which finally arrived in To-Go boxes while we were still eating. The owner barely acknowledged us and didn't offer any apology. The restaurant wasn't even busy! I won't be returning and will be sharing my experience with others.

I wish I could have tasted the pizza because she looked pretty delicious. However, customer service was very lacking. On entering, I was confused at the front of the shop where to order. No single employee welcomed us or gave instructions to order. About 2-3 minutes later I noticed the order sign here. I went to the order area and stood there for 6-7 minutes. Neither a single server greeted me or gave me some kind of confirmation. The restaurant wasn't busy. Many of the employees had turned to me. A worker on her phone went off the register, but also ignored me. I went out fast and went to the pig in a pimp.

Delicious pizza! The boss is really outgoing and convincing. If you don't know how the place works the boss will help you out.
