What Mikella Moran doesn't like about Mel's Hometown:
Lots of confusion says you can order take out but when you call they say they don’t do that and to come in and eat?? Def change your website!! Was good when we went the last time but we just had a baby and coming in is hard for us that’s why the take out option is great for View all feedback.
Our server/hostess was very nice and efficient. We thought it was a late dinner and the food was delicious. We went all day and Kala's smiles and courtesy were very welcomed. The man who helps this way, perhaps the manager, was also very pleasant. This Perkins was one of the nicer ones I visited. Thank you. Vonnie and Mike von Wilcox PA
My brother in the law is in a nursing home, just on the way from this unit. Because we live forty minutes away, last year we had about a dozen lunches or dinners. It reminded me why I landed so often in a Perkins when I was on business trip. Physically it is a perkins, maybe a little older than most, but well maintained. We were never disappointed at the service or the food. Last night I had a meal of steak medals with mushrooms. The meat was tender, the part was more than generous, it was cooked as I asked, and the mushrooms were fresh, not skillful. The salad was fresh, sisable and without a piece of cale in sight. Without exaggeration, I spent two or three times as much for this dish in other fine restaurants. We met the manager when he often visited the dining area. And we always had servers that were pleasant and well trained.
I frequently dine at the Perkins in Corry, Pa. The food and service is wonderful. Today was free pie with an entree . Wonderful. However, I was upset that my pie was presented in a plastic container, even though I was eating it in the restaurant. I understand that many people take the pie home, however, I feel that the customers who are eating in should be served their pie on a plate. It is difficult to eat out of the plastic container plus it is not environmentally friendly. Please change this if possible. Otherwise it was a great experience

Someone complained very loudly about a hair and while their server tried to get a manager to alleviate the situation and make it right, the customer got even more irate. Management has handled the situation very quietly, but firmly even if the customer started to heal. The manager did everything she could to ensure that the other customers were not disturbed by this rude person so that everything in all I really appreciate the service and the food is top notch!
They are friendly and do good service. The food is very good and very affordable. I get regular coupons in email format. You are in bankruptcy and have been hired as Perkins. Plan to reopen in the near future as another restaurant, but can not use Perkins products including bakery.
