Padre Pizzeria - Corpus Christi

I have to say that this is one of the best places that o true has been visiting here. I ordered the lasagne and it was so full of taste! we also ordered the pizza rolls and were not disappointed. I left another day. service was great! the waitress was super sweet! I also bought dessert, but was so filled, had to take with us. it looks great! can't wait to have space to eat it!

Oh my goodness, this is one of the best pizzas in the state! You must come to St. Padre's Island to try it!

The restaurant has a cozy dining space with a good variety of beer and wine options. The pizzas and sandwiches are exceptional.

Had the Thai calzone, nothing special and the place seems run by teenagers who are not bad but not that great either. They did have a couple local beers on tap unfortunately the bartender (who's boyfriend she had just kicked out for being overly intoxicated and trying to sleep at the bar as I walked in) did not know much about the beers. I asked for my pizza to go but then decided to stay and no plate or silverware were offered by my server Yeah it's out of season so don't except great service. I would try this place again in season maybe the service would be better and the sign will be fixed? As I sit here writing this review they messed up the order of the only other customer at the bar next to me, how?

My family and I visit Corpus Christi every year and we always enjoy trying new restaurants. As an Italian, my wife and kids love pizza. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. I ordered the Pfeffersalzone and my wife had the Chicken Caesar salad. We also shared a large pepperoni pizza, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning next year during our vacation. The Italian food here is very good.
