Nolan's Original Poorboys

Excellent fried shrimp and catfish. Good service. Family oriented. Our grandson loves Nolans.

They get 3 stars because it was clean, and they cooked my salmon without overcooking it. Husband?s ribeye also cooked ok, but very thin. Okay, why I won?t back if I want a steak dinner, I don't want to order from a counter, then swap the plastic wrapped side dishes and drinks back to the table. All that was missing was the cafeteria tablet. If you don't mind closing all your own stuff, no table service and looking for an atmosphere closer to Jason?s Deli, that's one thing. If you're looking for a steak restaurant atmosphere, isn't it?

My wife and I stopped in for lunch and ordered fried catfish, a grilled chicken sandwich, baked potato, and carrot cake. Everything we had was cooked and seasoned to perfection as far as we were concerned, and the proportions were perfect too in our opinion. The restarant was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I even liked the country-western music they were playing and I don't generally listen to country music. We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be coming back. Two thumbs up!

Wow. Food was amazing, plentiful and cheap. It has to feel like a steak house / old land. The dining room is very spacious. A lot like Bill Millers, but with a steak house menu. Definitely back to try the other dishes.
