Drunkn ' Noodlez Asian Restaurant. Being in the mood for something Asian, we pulled in to Drunkn ' Noodlez for dinner recently. If you have not eaten here yet, you really need to make plans. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Service was somewhat leisurely, but but very friendly. With all the choices on the menu, it was difficult to make a decision. As an appetizer, we went with the Creamy Cra... View all feedback.
It's worth the ride. I love this place... it's so far out of my way, but I still make the trip because it's delicious! The only thing I didn't love was the Tempoura Sushi, but her noodle dishes and curries are fantastic! Cool atmosphere... I haven't dived yet, but I'm planning in the future.
While we enjoy one of our favorite restaurants in Coastal Bend, Rock and Rolls Sushi, we had the opportunity to talk to the cook and owner David Lee. The type LOVES to talk to food and share with us that we had to go to Drunkn’Noodlez. He explained that “Mama K” would join us with something spicy hot and tasty. Well, you can't have a more solid recommendation than a cook, right? There are heat options when selecting your food and we went with “native” for our Chicken Panang Red Curry. HOT! Not enough to kill the taste, but enough to give you Hiccups and a drippy nose. The coconut mediates in every bite and combine the spices to give the dish a depth and richness that you do not often find. If you are used to soft veggies, open your mind veggies will be boiled al dente. Fresh aromas and a pleasure in the senses. But really, the sauce is what makes this plate epic! This could actually be the only place in the city with kafiri lime leaves and real galanga root. You just don't get more authentic than that! While we want to keep the blog about the court (because the court was really amazing! We were surprised by what we found when we stumbled in the restaurant. The ambience was not what you expect – it had a higher feeling than the cheesy font and the name would lead you to faith. If you have not already enjoyed the kitchen at Drunkn’Noodlez, go on and prepare yourself to some authentic Thai dishes that make you safe drool! I'm shocked people have something bad to say about this place. I always enjoy my dishes and the strawberry beer! The drunken noodles are my absolute favorite!!
Sadly inconsistent sushi. It 's either perfect or looks as if my 4 year old prepared it. We wish we could come on the perfect nights , cause its so good!
