Already off to a poor start.. 8:30AM just about and it says they open at 8AM .. Three employees sitting at 9am… and they are closed. If you are not going to open change your hours. We would have eaten before the airport!

About what you'd expect for airport food but it was OK staff was friendly
We had a noon flight out of the Corpus Christi airport and a tight connection in Houston, so we knew we needed to eat lunch right before out flight. Coastal Bend Bar Grill was located right next to our gate, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered their Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and my wife ordered a spinach salad (can't remember its name) with chicken and blue cheese crumbles. Both of us thought our meals were very good something you don't often get with an airport restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. It's not fine dining, but it is a fine place for a quick lunch!
