Blue Clove - Corpus Christi

Eat here for the first time. Made date night wonderful. The food was perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Amazing flavors and incredible service! Kitchen timing could use a little work for 5 stars. Delicious appetizer! (The fried sampler). Outstanding service! My main, tuna (cooked perfectly) and sides were cold, and my son's steak was overdone. Great drinks as well.

The fish tacos here are absolutely amazing, and the crab cakes are a standout. The drinks are really strong, too. Our waitress was outstanding—very professional and attentive. Even though the restaurant was extremely busy with multiple birthday parties, the service was a bit slow, but I can completely understand why given the circumstances. All in all, the positives definitely outweigh the wait. I would definitely return to this place whenever I'm in Corpus Christi.

This afternoon, I received a call from the restaurant to confirm our reservation for tonight. I'm glad I did because there was a line of people waiting for tables. The waitress was both friendly and welcoming. Our orders didn't take long to arrive, and the food looked just like the pictures on their website. We enjoyed our meals immensely. Personally, I think a little more spice would have enhanced the flavor even further, but the quality and taste of the food were excellent. I ordered the whole roasted snapper, and if you're a fan of fish, I highly recommend this restaurant. My family was also pleased with their dishes, especially the desserts. This was our first visit to Blue Clove, and after hearing so many positive reviews, we just had to give it a try!

The food is consistently excellent and definitely worth the price. Each time I've dined here, everything has been incredibly fresh and delicious.
