The Old Corowa Bakehouse

I recently tried the chicken and salad roll from the sandwich bar at this restaurant. It was incredibly tasty, with high-quality chicken being used. I also ordered a coffee, and the total cost was only $8, which I found to be an exceptional deal. The staff members were also very friendly and welcoming.

I absolutely adored this bakery. It had a cozy, familiar atmosphere, and the lady who served us was incredibly kind. She asked if we were dining in as she was packaging my cake, and when I said yes, she promptly brought out a plate for my cake with a smile. She also informed me that they were using a different chocolate for my mocha that day, so it might not be as sweet, and even provided a sugar packet just in case. It was a delightful experience overall, and the mocha was delicious even without the added sugar.

I was disappointed when I requested a ham and salad sandwich and was told that the fresh bar was closed. The customer before me and the customer after me were both served sandwiches, so it felt like there was a different rule for locals and travelers. However, the pie was quite good.

Grumpy disinterested staff and nothing special about the products available. I have tried a couple of time to support this business but by the third time it just gets worse. I cannot understand anybody who values service and good product range giving this place any sort of good rating. Old sour looking unhappy faces behind the counter and zero interest.

Really enjoyed our stop over for morning tea. Could not fault the custard tart and coffee. Looking forward to another visit hopefully some time soon.
