Di Marena - Coronado

The tavern is a cellar restaurant that brings great cocktails and a superlative eating program that is sure to please both their spirits and likes. we found the trinidad sour to be our favorite drink of the night, with the hot toddy close to the tow. Do not miss the littleneck whispers, crispy wings and mac and cheese. unexpectedly the airline chicken peking and teriyaki aromen had us enchanted. the Lachs-Entree meets all cylinders as the threshold of the night. Finally, the best and greatest part of the night was the exclusiveity of glen a.k.a stardust, a wonderful server that complicated our night as perfect as a san diego sunset.

We were undecided on where to eat then decided to stop here because it smelled so inviting as we walked past. We sat outside on the sidewalk. My husband and I both ordered fish n chips. It was OK nothing to rave about. Our companions ordered the salmon and clams both were pleased with their meals. We all agreed, though, that the mini skillet brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing! Friendly service, nice location, prices about what you'd expect for the area.

My husband and I stopped for beers and a couple of appetizers. Fish tacos were okay and the Brussels sprouts were burned. Service was great, sweet girl.

Don’t let the name fool you – the food here is really good. We had drinks and dinner with a large family and everyone was able to find a dish they liked. We especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries with blue cheese habanero dressing, roasted brussel sprouts, beet salad, and the mains (steak, pork chop, chicken pot pie) were good too. Steaks were overdone for medium rare but still good. Their warm chocolate chip cookies with ice cream dessert was a delicious way to end the meal. Service was excellent.

We were tired of food options at Hotel del Coronado so we walked here. Food was pretty good. Tacos had flavor. Mac n cheese was not gourmet but filling. Overall portions small. Waiter friendly.
