What Barrys Restaurant doesn't like about Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse Wine:
I ordered an 11 ounce filet with a Lobster tail side. Steak was maybe 6 ozs at best. 1/2 the size of another person in our party who ordered the same thing. Lobster tail was very small also. Not a $105 meal by any stretch. I will never figure out why so many servers don't take better care of the person paying the bill. View all feedback.

The steak is great. The baked potato feeds 2 people. The valet is $10 not $6. Our waitress, Kelcey was excellent. The desert fell a little short but may be better if eaten at the restaurant. We took ours to go and it was SMALL. Still, outstanding experience.
Enjoyed a delicious and lovely Father's Day celebration dinner at Fleming's this evening. We were also celebrating our son's completion of his MA program and the Father's Day special menu with Fleming's signature steaks and special seafood combinations certainly hit the mark. The Chilean Seabass was delicious as was the strawberry green salad and as always, Flemings signature potatoes au gratin. Even as every table was booked for the occasion the service was outstanding as always. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening.
My family and I have been to Flemmings multiple times over the years and have had many great experiences. This however was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak. Our dinner started on a high note. We came for my sister's birthday and they set the table with birthday decorations and a signed card. It was very sweet. Everything was fine until we got to the main course. My sister and our guest's orders were fine. The only issue was mine. I ordered my usual main filet mignon. When it arrived, the steak was stone cold in the middle and the inside looked as if the steak hadn't been cooked at all. I sent it back and when it came back it looked as if they had just put in a microwave for ten minutes. The interior was lukewarm at best. For the price point this steak was at, I expected better. When we got to dessert, the crème brûlée was okay. The sugar topping is supposed to be caramelized immediately before it's served. Ours were cold, almost as if it was taken out of a fridge and served. The taste was fine and it looked good, but for such a pricey meal we expected better. All this to say, the service was great and our server did a great job. But the food quality left a lot to be desired.
This place is such a gem and probably some of the best steak in OC. There may other big name restaurants but the onion rings, carpaccio, and shrimp side dishes are the best at Flemings. I think the steak is definitely a competitor to the other big names in the area. Jared was our server last night and is always a great dude and hard working. I love that they have good vegan items here too and are considerate of vegetarians.
