There are very few restaurants that have the ambience, quality of food and service that the Five Crowns has. It has been in business for well over 70 years and that says it all. Our server, Carly, was so very friendly and attentive to our wants and needs. Our experience could not have been better. Highly recommend!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Five Crowns:
The food was terrible the meat was dry and leathery and the lobster was overcooked so much that it was tiny, burnt and unrecognizable. The service was also very slow beyond slow, with weak excuses about how it's usually like this on a Friday. We had a lovely dinner with excellent service provided by Manny and Juan. The prime rib was tender and flavorful. The chocolate soufflés were so good! Another great dinner at the Five Crowns! Thank you.
We had the Ribeye and it had gristle and made it tuff to eat. It was cooked ok but the quality of the meat, for both my wife and I was not as good as we expected. We were both a little disappointed as it was our 40th anniversary and picked Five Crowns because of our passed experience at the restaurant. The quality of our steaks did not worth $75.
We go to Lawry's in Beverly Hills every year as a birthday dinner and will likely be switching to Five Crowns moving forward. It's closer and provides the same if not better quality experience. The restaurant was beautifully designed, staff were very friendly and gave great service, and the location was so much easier to access. Would highly recommend for anyone who loves prime rib or great food. We ordered the fixed prime rib meals, their signature salad, and the sundae for desert. Everything was well prepared and to our specified temperature. The signature salad is the only think I would probably pass on moving forward. It was good but just not as iconic as the spinning salad from Lawry's. I would try some of their other appetizers next time instead.
We enjoyed a perfect dinner at 5 crowns, served by Tim. Everything was delicious and the ambiance was delightful. We loved the peppers and shrimp cocktail appetizers, the lobster bisque and Caesar salads. Each of our dinner options were perfect-the prime rib, the New York strip and the filets. Topped by wonderful desserts, too. Just a beautiful dinner in such a beautiful place!
Carly is always a delight as a server... anticipating every need and request as if reading our minds! That said, the evening went well. We are rewards members and the perks were wonderful! Food excellent as always, and it's one of our favorite spots to dine. :
