One of my fav beaches in Newport Beach. Super crowded on the weekends so its best to enjoy on a weekday. Park to the right if you want to see pirates cove. Park to the left of you want to enjoy the main beach. There is also a cave at the far left of u walk down the beach a little. Restrooms available and you must pay for parking. View all feedback.
What M2 Mom C doesn't like about Corona Del Mar State Beach:
Decent beach with relatively easy paid parking (costly but no hills). If you plan on doing a pit fire/bon fire, be aware that many of the pits are marked green and can only be used with charcoal (it was monitored when we were here). View all feedback.
I generally loath the beach but the Corona Del Mar State Beach is really a cut above most. The ease of access, beauty, and ample facilities all work together to make it a great spot. There were a ton of Velella velella (By-the-Wind Sailors) along the shore which was an interesting experience. Worth a visit!
Beautiful beach. Gets crowded in the summer, but worth going to in the summer.
Perfect breaking waves and tide pools to the south that are fun to explore. Water is pretty chilly this time of year, but fun to sit on the beach, listen to the ocean and play in the sand.
We have been to many beaches in the world! but today this one won me over. and it has become my favourite. extraordinary fog, gorgeous sand and clear water made this day unforgettable. fog and the beach is the best thing I've seen on the beach.
