Visited Saturday afternoon for my son's 23rd birthday. It was a relaxed atmosphere with live jazz music that created a great ambience. Music wasn't too loud, so it was just perfect. Our food was served quickly and it was very appetizing and reasonable price for the quality and serving. The lava cake and the Kahlua coffee were thrilled. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Toasted Barrel:
While in town on business entertained a client, The Toasted Barrel burned my experience. First, the wine was clearly overrated... Secondly, the escargot was prepared with mushroom caps and their taste completely exaggerated the snails. Third, the main roast was OK, but low to taste volume. The sour cream with horseradish brought nothing to the party. Maybe because the rider was almost inaccessible. Fourth, the server... View all feedback.
We are steak house snobs lol and this hands down best yet!! The fillet, prime rib, wedge salad, potato soup, oyster Rockefeller, beef truffle carpaccio, Merlot, sour dough bread were out of this world!! Meat cooked to perfection with incredible flavor and the desserts to die for. Could not believe check have never had that low of a check with that much satisfaction!!!
We LOVE this place! We went recently for a wine tasting event and enjoyed lots of fantastic appetizers. The cheese platter, stuffed mushrooms, rib eye sliders among others and everything was delicious. The service was very prompt and the servers were very attentive. The band was great too! Not over loud and they were very talented. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of attending the Monday Night Cigar mixer! I had many friends join me and all of us were impressed with the patio, the service and the overall feel of The Toasted Barrel! We had “Old Fashioneds”, the tri-tip sliders and the shrimp. The food was delightful! The owner Ed Gilmore joined us and I have to tell you, that made all the difference in the world! This place is Aces in my book, I will be backand so will my pals! Thank you Ed and thank you to all the staff that made this a joyous experience!
If you're looking for a new date night location add The Toasted Barrel to your list!! We visited last night and had a FABULOUS TIME!! There were 6 of us. I'm super high maintenance (I have celiac can't have gluten) and they took very good care of us! I had the scallops, they were cooked to perfection!! I could cut them with my fork!! My fiancé had the prime rib and was equally impressed. We all were very happy with our meals. Their wine selection was fantastic the full bar kept the non wine drinkers very happy as well!! Patty was our server and was spot on all night! She had excellent suggestions that were mouth watering!!
Finally something different in corona. Came here for reverse toasted hour after 9pm and sat on the patio and had a great time. Very nice fireplace, decor, ambience, great appetizers. Only bummer is we took so long to come here. Patty is the best!!
