Hands down the best sushi place in Corona . I have been coming here for almost 10 years and the people that own this place are very lovely people and are very patient and kind. The service here is fast and you can call in orders for pickup as well . View all feedback.
What Big Bear doesn't like about Samurai Kitchen:
These people don’t know how to give service. No restroom for customers and they make you clean up after yourself. Literally the only place I’ve ever been to that the owner actually told us to clean the table and throw everything in the bin outside. Very rude people. The sushi is pretty bad too. I had a business meeting there and it was pretty embarrassing. Stay away from this place it’s horrible! View all feedback.
The food was satisfactory but not impressive. The quality of the fish could have been better, although the prices are reasonably average for sushi. Rating: 2/5.
The service at this restaurant is very disappointing. There are no restrooms available for customers, and you're expected to clean up after yourself. I've never encountered a restaurant where the owner actually asked us to clear our own table and throw our trash in an outdoor bin. The staff was very rude as well. To top it off, the sushi was not good at all. I had a business meeting here, and it was quite embarrassing. I would recommend steering clear of this place; it’s really not worth it!
I ordered food last night, and it was a disappointing experience. The spicy tuna, chicken teriyaki bowl, and chicken chow mein all tasted old and were simply unappetizing. I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but I'm definitely not coming back. It was so bad that I had to throw the food away.
Last night, my dad and I were on the hunt for a good Japanese restaurant nearby, so we decided to give Samurai Kitchen a try. I've lived in Corona for a while now and have passed by this place countless times without realizing it was here! The restaurant itself is small and a bit worn, so we chose not to dine in. However, the sushi roll truly stole the show! It was bursting with flavor and had the perfect textures you'd expect from great sushi. The beef teriyaki plate was also quite enjoyable; the beef was tender and coated in a delicious sauce. My dad ordered the chicken teriyaki plate and thought it was inferior to the beef. He found the chicken a bit dry and said the best part of his dish was the rice. The plate came with a fresh salad, but the sauce offered was Thousand Island. I wish they had a vinaigrette option instead, as the Thousand Island just resembled mayonnaise to me.
The owners are incredibly friendly! I always order the spider roll, and it's delicious! The prices are very reasonable too!
