While many patrons sing praises for the flavorful BRC burrito and friendly service, recent experiences reveal inconsistencies in food quality and staff demeanor. Rude interactions and bland salsas have dampened the reputation for some. Despite these setbacks, many continue to return, valuing the hearty meals and swift service they often encounter. Overall, Miguel's Jr remains a mixed bag, offering both commendable dishes and areas that need improvement, making it a hit-or-miss dining option.
My brother and I stopped to eat something too early. It was three cars in the Drivethru between 8:00 and 8:30 and no one inside. The fact that there was breakfast time and hardly anyone there should have been a huge red flag. We both ordered the chorizo breakfast Burrito and were both disappointed. The Burrito tasted like a Gooey fair. It had large pieces of potato and the rest was a soggy drive without taste. I'm not even sure if it had eggs or chorizo in it. Even the salsa was bland and not spicy. Needless to say, we haven't finished the Burrito and left hungry.
This is not a place to recommend when you want Mexican food. I have not tasted the experience at all and I have eliminated it from my memory as a choice for food.
This place has been a pillar here for years. But it's just okay. It is affordable and fills the Burrito size, but the salsa is tasteless without spices at all. That said a bean, rice and cheese (BRC) Burrito here is still amazing. A full meal for under $4 and if you put the free onion and cilantro and your own salsa. The BRC is the reason I'm still here.
Quick and flawless service. employees were friendly and professional, especially the one at the window who was extremely respectful and well mannered. the burritos left us more than full- they left us satisfied. [insert epic explosion]
As delicious as I remember from over 10 years ago. I had a shredded chicken garbage burrito and after I demolished that I had the remains of the chili Verde garbage burrito that my girlfriend had. Both were delicious and a hearty helping of food. The staff was very kind as well.
